Monday 17th May marks the start of National Smile Month in the UK.
This is a charity campaign from the Oral Health Foundation aiming to raise awareness of important health issues and make a difference to the oral health of millions of people.
To help support this cause at CMUK we are launching a competition called Show Us Your Smile! We want you to get creative and send us your best cheesy grin photos – have some fun with it, get your gnashers out and you could be in with a chance to win!
The winner will receive a bottle of our favourite Forest Gin and two lucky runners up will get their hands on one of our brand new products, a Ceramet Ceramic Brush.
We are launching the competition today on our page and it will end on Friday so you don’t have long! You can send in your entries to any of our awesome team and we’ll be showcasing the winners and special mentions back on our page. Supporting National Smile Month
The campaign is all about raising awareness of the inequalities that still exist around oral health and promoting some key messages to help improve this.
These are:
- Brush teeth for two minutes, last thing at night and one other time during the day, with a fluoride toothpaste.
- Clean between your teeth every day.
- Cut down how much and how often you have sugary foods and drinks.
- Visit a dentist regularly.
This is all about raising awareness and creating happier, healthier smiles.
So we would love it if you could take part and get creative with your entry to Show Us Your Smile and help to spread the word to support this great cause.
